Anthea grew up in north east Victoria and completed her BFA in Fine Art at RMIT, Melbourne.

Familiar landscape and memory have been on going themes in her painting. From these ideas, she is moving towards the research in the physicality of painting and how particular motifs, mark and line formed from elements in the natural landscape inform her work and energy from painting.

She has held solo exhibitions in Melbourne and Sydney, and has been a part of group exhibitions at various galleries in Melbourne as well as regional galleries in Victoria. She was a finalist in the Macquarie Group Emerging Artist Prize in 2016.

Anthea is currently studying a master of contemporary art at the Victorian College of Art, Melbourne.
